Slide the wire electrode from the welding wire drum through the wirefeeding hose
and up to the feed rollers on the unreeling wirefeeder
CAUTION!
Risk of injury from wire electrode emerging at speed.
A wire jam may lead to the wire electrode protruding, especially with thin or soft wire
electrodes.
Keep your face and body well away from the 4-roller drive on the robot wirefeeder. Use
suitable protective goggles.

Press the "Wire threading" button on the unreeling wirefeeder

The feed rollers will continue to turn for as long as the "Wire threading" button is
kept pressed and the wire threading LED flashes green.

Feed the wire electrode into the wirefeeding hose between the unreeling
wirefeeder and the robot wirefeeder until the wire electrode arrives at the feed
rollers of the robot wirefeeder.

The feeder inching speed can be adjusted using the wire feed speed poten-
tiometer.

Thread the wire electrode into the torch hosepack as described in the operating
instructions for the robot wirefeeder

NOTE!
Set the contact pressure in such a way that the wire electrode is not deformed but
nevertheless ensures proper wirefeeding.
