On the Essential model, the setpoint can be adjusted on the display at the bottom of the unit.  

 

Open  the  door  at  the  bottom  right  to  access  the 
display. 

 

 

 

Essential display 

Adjust the value using the two buttons. 
No  confirmation  is  necessary;  the  value  is  stored 
directly.
