The following pictographs illustrate the type and source of
a hazard.
General Notes
These instructions contain information for the safe and proper
operation of this system. Observe the following principles:
• Read the entire manual prior to installing or using this
system.
• Ensure that everyone using this system follows the
instructions and safety precautions.
• Keep the instructions nearby and available for reference
throughout the service life of this system.
Signal Word
Meaning
WARNING
Indicates a hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could result in serious injury or death.
CAUTION
Indicates a hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could result in minor or moderate injury.
Caution also alerts against unsafe practices.
NOTICE
Indicates special instructions that are important but not related to physical injury hazards.

The arrow signals a safety precaution to be taken to
eliminate or reduce the danger.
