Wireless LAN Standards
Your FRITZ!WLAN USB Stick AC 430 supports the following
wireless LAN standards:
The net transmission speed describes the transmission rate
of the user data.
Which standard is used in a wireless LAN depends on the set-
tings of the wireless access point. The FRITZ!WLAN USB Stick
must use the same standard and the same frequency band as
the wireless access point.

If your wireless access point supports the 5-GHz frequency
band, use the 5-GHz band for fast wireless connections free
of interference. More channels are available for use in the
5-GHz band than in the 2.4-GHz band. In addition, there are
usually fewer wireless devices transmitting in the 5-GHz
band than in the 2.4-GHz band. This means that operation in
the 5-GHz is often subject to less interference than in the
2.4-GHz band.
