Refrigerator operating
characteristics
Setting the temperature
The thermostat position (temperature selector)
and its regulation are specific to the DFN39
and DFX39 refrigerators and should not
be compared to graduation of refrigerators
controls from other brands or models.
When adjusting the refrigerator temperature,
you should consider the following factors:
1.
The amount of food to be stored.
2.
The ambient temperature in which the
refrigerator is installed.
Adjust the freezer temperature: CONTROL
PANEL
TEMP. key:
Through this key you can select the
TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT of the freezer
compartment and also the functions TURBO
FREEZER and DRINK EXPRESS.
3.
Do not exceed the limits of temperature
selector settings (Maximum Cold and
Minimum cold). Note the alignment of the
button mark with the desired position.
Air Flow Control
Your refrigerator is frost free (automatic de-
frost), which prevents ice formation. The air
flow control into the freezer or the refrigerator is
made by the button shown in the figure below.
The air circulation control changes the tem-
perature of the freezer and refrigerator com-
partments, as shown below:
In the daily use of the refrigerator it is
recommended that the air flow control
be used in “NORMAL” position.

COLD DAYS
HOT DAYS
If it’s necessary to adjust the refrigerator tempera-
ture, make small changes in graduation.
Avoid using the maximum graduation because at
this point, on cold days, may result in the freezing
of foods in the refrigerator.
The internal temperature of the refrigerator de-
pends on the ambient temperature, the number
of times the doors are opened and replacement
foods on its inside.
While the
TURBO
or
DRINK
EXPRESS
functions are active the
“TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT”
function will remain deactivated.
