Application
Thermocassette HC is intended for discreet
heating in offices, bathrooms, schools etc.
Designed for either surface or recessed
mounting it is well suited for total heating
as well as for spot heating of for example a
reception desk. Protection class: IP44.
Mounting
Thermocassette HC is installed horizontally in
the ceiling. The panel can be recessed in false
ceilings, mounted externally with brackets
on the ceiling or suspended by wire, chain or
threaded rods. The panel is equipped with a
H-shaped mounting bracket. A wire mounting
kit is available as an accessory.
Remove the plastic film from the panel
before mounting.
For minimum distance, see diagrams on
introductory pages.
Recessed mounting in false ceilings
The heater is placed on the suspended ceiling
framework. See the introduction pages.
1.
Place the panel in the required ceiling square.
2.
Fix the panel to the building structure, it is
not the false ceiling framework that should
support its weight. Suspension is simplified
by the four holes in the bracket.
NOTE! Avoid fixing vertical bars in the T-profile
where a heating panel is to be installed. The
panel fills out the whole square.
Mounting with bracket
The panel is equipped with a H-shaped
mounting bracket. See the introduction pages.
1.
Detach the bracket from the panel by
removing its screws and nuts.
2.
Measure, drill and screw the bracket in the
ceiling.
3.
Hook the panel onto the bracket's threaded
rods released from their nuts.
4.
Replace the nuts.
5.
Swing up the panel and secure it to the other
end of the bracket with the screws.
Suspension
The panel can be suspended by wire, chain or
threaded rods. A wire mounting kit is available
as an accessory. Attach the suspensions
securely in the ceiling and then in the four
corners of the H-shaped bracket.
Electrical installation
Thermocassette is intended for permanent
installation. The installation, which should
be preceded by an isolator switch with a
contact separation of at least 3 mm, should
only be wired by a competent electrician and
in accordance with the latest edition of IEE
wiring regulations. The panel is equipped with
a 1,6 meter cable without plug. If the cable is
damaged the unit has to be scrapped.
