Maintenance
To ensure performance and reliabilty of the
SW02 unit, inspection and cleaning should be
carried out regularly. Inspection should be
carried out at least twice a year. Clean the unit
when needed.
During inspection the power supply must
always be disconnected.
Cleaning the fan
Cleaning intervals for the fan depends on filter (if
any) and air quality. If the impellers are not
cleaned properly, vibrations/noise can occur and
severly damage the bearings. If the vibrations/
noise remain after cleaning, please contact a
competent electrician.
The SW02 unit and the heating coil
can be
vaccumed to remove dust.
Inspection and cleaning of SW02 should be
done from the outside and inside.
Filter
If the heater is equipped with a deep-pleated bag
filter (extra), it should be cleaned when
necessary.
The filter should be checked at least 4
times a year. To clean the filter, open top or
bottom lid by loosening a pair of screws
underneath the lid and vaccum.
Heating coil
Inspect the coil for water leakage and corrosion.
Dust on the surface of the heating coil can be
vaccumed.
Motor
The motor is normally maintenance free. If noise
or vibrations should occur, inspect the bearing
and replace if necessary. Replacement should be
carried out by a competent electrician.
Safety
-
Ensure that the area around the intake is
kept free from material which could
prevent the air flow through the
appliance!
-
The appliance may have hot surfaces during
operation!
Accessories
See also table page 2.
Fan speed and heat regulation
The fan motors are in standard design prepared
for three fixed fan speed stages, see wiring
diagrams.
CB30N, control panel
Regulates the air flow in three stages. Is delivered
separately in an enclosed casing for wall
mounting. Max input 10 A. Protection class:
splash-proof design (IP44).
SWR20, valve set
The valve set is suitable when there is need for
adjusting the water flow and for shutting the
water flow off for maintenance. The heat supply
is controlled by a thermostat. Pipe dimension of
SWR20 is DN20 (
3
/
4
”).
Consisting parts:
• AV20, stop valve
Stops the water supply to SW02. Consists of a ball
valve which is either closed or open.
• JV20, adjustment valve
Adjusts the water to desired flow. (kv-value for
JV20 0,13 - 0,59.) When maintenance is needed,
the water flow can be stopped with the stop and
the adjustment valves.
• TVV20, 2-way regulation valve
Pressure class PN16, maximum pressure 2 MPa
(20 Bar), maximum pressure drop for TVV20 is
100 kPa (1,0 Bar). The kv-value is adjustable in
three stages:
TVV20
kv 1,6
kv 2,5
kv 3,5
• SD20, actuator on/off 230V~
The heat supply to SW02 is controlled by a room
thermostat. Works on/off. The time span between
closed and open prevents sudden pressure
changes in the pipe system. Protection class:
IP40.
