NOTICE
VACUBOX XL may only be operated with filtered air!
Dirt in the venturi nozzle can minimise the vacuum performance! It may then be
necessary to clean or replace the silencer on the VACUBOX XL.
• Start the air compressor.
NOTICE
The vacuum clamping unit cannot be used at altitudes above 1,000 m. Please
contact our application engineering department in this case.
• Pick up the saddle and press it against the pipe until the vacuum clamps the
saddle into place and the manometer shows a constant vacuum of
at least
-0.8 bar.
INFORMATION
In case of major out-of-roundness of the pipe, it may be that no vacuum can
be generated. In this case, press the saddle onto the pipe applying two lashing
straps. Position the lashing straps at the sides of the saddle and straighten.
Loosen and remove the lashing straps when a constant vacuum of at least
-0.8 bar is shown.
