WARNING:

Disconnect the electrical power to the machine at the main circuit

box. Place a tag on the circuit box indicating the circuit is being serviced.

MEASURING THE HEATING ELEMENTS

ELECTRICAL TESTS

If heaters have been stored for a longer period, Moist can go in and the insulation resistance can go

down. Therefore it is good to measure this insulation resistance before mounting it.

In case this Insulation resistance is too low, it could be considered to dry the heater in an oven for 24

hours on 130°C (266°F). The longer the better.

Advise:

• Keep stock limited.

• Store in conditioned space (for example in a box with silica gel)
