OPERATING THE MEDICAL TREATMENT CHAIR
Model specific features:
T200
– Standard chair with reclining back
T300
– Standard chair with reclining back & slide-out footrest
1. To secure the chair in position depress the brake pedals located at the top of each of
the rear castors (T200) or the central locking brake pedal at the rear of the chair
which locks all four castors (T300).
2. To operate the seat/leg rest recline, release one of the lever handles on the front side
of the chair. To sit up, depress the legrest with your legs until the leg rest locks in the
seated position.
3. To operate the back rest (T200 & T300 series only); put the back-release lever
(located below the rear arm pad) into the release position allowing the backrest to
move to the required position. Relock as required.
4. Fold out tray arm (if fitted) is accessed by opening the upper section outwards.
5. Lift up tray tables (if fitted) lift up and lock into place.
6. To allow the patient to rise from the chair, return it to the upright position.
7. Ensure procedural equipment is set up to avoid tubing and cords becoming trapped in
the moving parts of the chair (e.g. arm rests). DISCONNECT procedural equipment
prior to removing patient from chair.
For the T300 series only
8. The slide out footstool can be extended to allow the patient access to the chair. The
knob lock on the front left side of the chair should be used to ensure the stool is not
allowed to slide under the chair. The stool is normally left in the extended position for
comfort whilst the patient is seated.
