SECTION I GENERAL INFORMATION
1.1 INTRODUCTION
This document contains the system installation guidance for the FreeFlight
Systems (FFS) FWF-125 Serial to WIFI Transceiver, part number 86943-00
hereafter known as the FWF-125. The FWF-125 provides a robust and affordable
solution of transmitting and receiving data wirelessly.
1.2 SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
1.2.1 GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The FreeFlight Systems FWF-125 Serial to WiFi Transceiver is a complete
standalone embedded wireless LAN access device. The device has on board
TCP/IP stack and applications, requiring only 4 pins (POWER, 232-TX, 232-RX,
GND) to design in for basic usage. The module is pre-loaded with firmware to
simplify integration and minimize applications development time.
