Hearing Screens Read Aloud

You can hear any screen on your Language Master
SE read aloud. Simply press

READ

to start and stop

reading.

Press

READ

whenever you want to hear spelling

correction lists; dictionary, thesaurus, or other refer-
ence entries; grammar topics; or your word or mes-
sage list.

When you press

READ

at any screen except a

prompt, words are highlighted as they’re read. This
highlighting makes reading easier for some people
who are learning disabled.

1. Press

READ

at any screen.

If you’re at the main prompt, you hear “Type in the
word you want to look up, then press ENTER.”

2. Press

READ

repeatedly to stop and start reading.

3. Press

CLEAR

when you’re done.
