Searching for Parts of Words
If you want to find prefixes, suffixes,
or other parts of words, type an aster-
isk (

) to stand for a series of letters.
To type an asterisk, hold
CAP
and
press
?

.
For example, type poly

at the main
drug list.
Then press
ENTER
to see its matches, or
type a correction.
Use
to highlight a match and then
press
ENTER
to add it to your search.
Finding Drug Interactions
All the drug interactions in the printed
book are listed in alphabetical order on
the Interactions menu.
1. Press
MENU

2. Type the name of a drug or use the ar-
row keys to highlight it. For example,
highlight
haloperidol & lithium.
3. Press
ENTER

4. Use

, or
SPACE
to scroll.
5. Press
CLEAR
when finished.
