4.3. Filling the water tank
Remove the water tank and wash thoroughly with cold water.
Then fill the water tank and replace it in the appliance.
Ensure that the tank snaps in properly .
Fill only with fresh, cold water. Never fill with milk, mineral water or other liquids. You
can also fill the tank with water without removing it. Simply remove the cover and pour
in water from a vessel from above and replace the lid.
4.4. Filling with coffee beans
It is possible to fill the Unit with two different varieties of coffee beans.
Remove the covers of the bean containers (9 /11).
Remove any dirt or foreign bodies present in the bean containers.
Fill the coffee beans into the bean containers and replace the covers.

Switching on the appliance
Press the mains switch at the back of the Unit (20).
Switch on the Unit at the ON/OFF button (23).

Place an empty cup under the coffee delivery (4).

Press the Wash button (34)

RINSING
The cappuccino nozzle is washed first, followed by the coffee delivery.

Rinsing the appliance
A wash process is automatically triggered when the Unit is switched off.
If no cappuccino was delivered, only the coffee delivery is washed on switching off. Once the Unit has
been switched off and is cooled, the rinsing process is requested on switching on.
7.
Selecting the grinder
You can select a grinder manually
Press the Grinder button (12) once or twice. The small lamp above the button indicates which grinder
has been activated (left grinder or right grinder).
7.1. Adjusting the grinder
To tailor the coffee optimally to the grinder, perform the following steps:
Press the Grinder button (12)
Deliver 6 coffees/espressos each by manually selecting the "left" mill and then the "right" mill.
We recommend also readjusting the mill after:
- Change of coffee bean variety
- Extreme adjustments of degree of milling
- Service
