18. Maintenance and care
The fitting must be checked and maintained at regular intervals in accordance with
the water quality, local conditions, and rules and regulations applicable at the site.
Maintain the following components:
• Shower head (see Chapter 19. )
• Filters (see Chapter 20. )
Use suitable cleaning agents which are not harmful to the fitting in a proper manner
and rinse with water after use. High-pressure cleaners must not be used for
cleaning.
Removing the shower panel
For some maintenance tasks, the shower panel must be removed.
Caution!
Do not allow the shower panel to hang by the connecting hoses.
Water connection from above:
18.1 Close the water volume regulator.
a: closed
b: open
18.2 Disconnect the fitting.
18.3 Disconnect the water connection.
18.4 Undo the screws on the shower panel.
18.5 Take down the shower panel.
Water connection from rear:
18.6 Undo the screws on the shower panel.
18.7 Take down the shower panel.
18.8 Close the water volume regulator (see Work step 18.1 ).
18.9 Disconnect the fitting.
18.10 Disconnect the water connection.
