3.2.2 Water and chemical systems
The water can be conveyed under pressure to the high pressure pump or can be sucked up
direct from a pressureless tank. Afterwards the water is conveyed to the spray lance. Clean-
ing and preserving agents can be added by means of an injector.
3.2.3 Safety spray lance with spray gun
The spray gun permits operation of the machine only when the safety control lever has been
activated.
The spray lance is a safety device. Repairs may only be carried out by experts. In
case of replacement, only parts authorized by the manufacturer may be used.
M - and MP - Variant
The gun is opened by activating the lever. The liquid is now conveyed to the nozzle. The
spraying pressure builds up and soon achieves the selected working pressure. When the
lever is released, the pistol is closed, preventing any further release of fluid from the spray
lance.
M - Variant
The pressure impulse when closing the spray gun opens the overflow safety valve. The
pump remains switched on and conveys the water with reduced overpressure into the circuit.
By opening the spray gun the overflow safety valve is closed and the pump conveys the
water to the spray lance with the selected working pressure.
MP - and TCA - Variant
By activating the lever the machine is switched on. By releasing the lever the machine is
switched off.
3.2.4 Voltage supply of the control electronics in the spray gun TCA
Two batteries E-Block 9 V provide for the necessary power supply of the control electronics.
The life durability of the batteries is about 200 operating hours. A signal lamp on the spray
gun indicates that the battery voltage has reached a certain limit and that the batteries have
to be replaced.
3.2.5 Duplex – Spray lance
The Duplex spray lance in coaxial version permits safe and easy operation and accurate
positionning of the jet. By operating the lateral turning knob the pressure may be infinitely
adjusted and you may change over to operation with chemicals.
3.2.6 Overflow safety valve
The overflow safety valve protects the machine from inadmissible excess pressure. It has
been designed in a way that it cannot be set above the maximum permissible operating pres-
sure. The limiting nut of the turning knob has been paint-sealed.
