Tools Required: Philips Screwdriver, 7/16” deep well socket, and 7/16” wrench.
A cordless drill is recommended. Approximate assembly time 1-2 hours.
TENT ASSEMBLY
(NOTE: Snap buttons to be in middle position)
1. Lay tent [N] under back edge of base [U], (opposite side of corner brackets) with the yellow Velcro straps facing
up and edge without corner pockets closet to the base [U] (Fig. I & II).
2. Starting with the U-Frame [GG] closest to the base and the Velcro closest to the base, wrap the yellow Velcro straps
around the U-Frame [GG]. (Fig. I) NOTE: Yellow Velcro straps should be on inside of tent after assembly.
3. Repeat step 2 for other U-frame [GG]
4. For the last U-frame [FF] wrap the 4 yellow Velcro straps around the U-Frame [FF]. (Fig. II)
5. Position corner pockets over corner of U-frame [FF]. Insert buckle through d-ring securing pocket around corner
of U-frame [FF]. (Fig. II)
STORM GUARD SYSTEM ASSEMBLY
(CAUTION! In small amount of incidences, sharp edges of the screws may protrude thru lip of the base after
assembling the Storm Guard System. Please use caution when loading and unloading unit)
1. Flip unit to the closed position.
2. Open one of the side doors and enter the shelter
3. Snap stretcher pole [V] on the #4 U-frame [GG] in the middle. (FIG V) Place the other end into indent in the base [U].
4. Snap stretcher pole [X] onto #4 U-frame [GG] on one side. (FIG V) Snap the other end onto the #3 U-frame [GG].
Repeat this step for other stretcher pole [X] on other side.
5. Pivot #2 U-frame [Y] vertical from off the ground while extending it so snap buttons are in the center holes
6. Snap stretcher pole [W] onto #3 U-frame [GG] on one side. (FIG V) Snap the other end onto the #2 U-frame [Y].
Repeat this step for other stretcher pole [W] on other side.
7. Stretcher poles [V/W/X] should look like image on page 14.
8. Take the Storm Guard System [A] and find the middle.
9. From the center of the back of the base [U] pull the tent [N] tight making sure the front U-frame [FF] is still touching
the ground.
10. Wrap the excess tent material under the lip of the base [U] and push the Storm Guard System [A] over the top
of the tent material and onto the lip of the base [U] across the back edge. (Fig. III) Before continuing to the sides,
insert 7 – screws [B] across the back evenly spaced. The screws [B] should go through the Storm Guard System [A],
tent [N], base [U], and back into the Storm Guard System [A]. (Fig. IV)
11. Continue pushing the Storm Guard System [A] over the tent material onto the lip of the base [U] to either side making
sure the tent [N] is tight and the front U-Frame [FF] is still touching the ground.
12. Take the remaining screws [B] and start at one end of the Storm Guard System [A] insert the screws [B] at least every
8 inches on each side of the base [U]. NOTE: there may be extra screws once finished.
13. At the front of the base [U] locate the 2 holes. Thread the yellow rope [D] toward the inside of the base [U].
Secure each end with a knot.
