Enable Packet Filter:
Enable or disable “packet filter” function
Policy:
The filter rule’s policy, you can choose the following options
Discard The Following--Discard packets conform to the following rules, Accept all other
packets
Only Accept The Following-- Accept only the data packets conform to the following rules,
Discard all other packets
Direction
input:
packet from WAN to LAN
output:
packet from LAN to WAN
Protocol:
packet protocol type
Source Ports:
packet's source port
Destination Ports:
packet's destination port
Source IP:
packet's source IP address
Destination IP:
packet's destination IP address
Note: "Source Port" ,"Destination Port" ,"Source IP" ,"Destination IP" could not be all empty, you
have to input at least one of these four parameters.
3.3.7 NAT
3.3.7.1 Port Forwarding
Port Forwarding allows you to set up public services on your network, such as web servers,
ftp servers, e-mail servers, or other specialized Internet applications. Specialized Internet
applications are any applications that use Internet access to perform functions such as
videoconferencing or online gaming. When users send this type of request to your network via the
Internet, the router will forward those requests to the appropriate PC. If you want to forward a
