Careful and accurate maintenance gua-
rantees good functioning and long la-
sting performance. Particular care must
be taken for the grease filter panel the
removal of the metal grease-filter is
done by pushing the special filter han-
dle towards the rear side of the cooker
hood, making it rotate downwards.
The filter is inserted by inversely re-
peating this operation. After 30 hours
of cooker hood functioning, the keypad
will signal the filter saturation , by the
flashing of the speed indicators. In or-
der to reset, please press the timer key.
The grease filter may be washed by hand
or in the dishwasher. How often it is
cleaned depends on usage, however, ge-
nerally at least once every two months.
Tepid water and a mild detergent are re-
commended for cleaning the appliance;
the use of abrasive products should be
avoided. To clean steel appliances the
use of special products is recommended,
while carefully following the instructions
shown on the product itself. To repla-
ce the dichroic lamp, remove the lamp
by inserting a small screwdriver (or any
sharp utensil) between the lamp and
the steel and replace it with a lamp of
the same kind. The supply cord should
be replaced by qualified and authorized
personnel only.
MAINTENANCE
Light Bulb Replacement
Turn blower and lights off. Make sure the
lights are cool.
If new lights do not operate, check fuses
and be sure globes and breakers are in-
serted correctly.
Do not remove the entire fixture (socket)
as this is very difficult to reinstall. Gently
pry the bulb from the fixture using a soft
instrument such as a toothpick. Steel in-
struments will scratch the surface.
Replace the appropriate bulb. Check par-
ts brochure or specification sheets on
our website. Wipe both sides of the glass
whilst it is out. Reinsert the glass blo-
cking ring and fasten it.
