Important safety devices

1.8

The proper functioning of the safety devices described below must be
checked at regular intervals:



after any repair work,



after any maintenance work and



prior to the start-up of the machine.

1.8.1 Main

switch

The main switch stops the drives of the machine; the emergency stop
function separates the machine from the power supply.

1.8.2

Motor protection switch

The motor protection switches in the switch cabinet stop the machine
drives.

1.8.3

Protection switch against non-intended restart of the
machine

The S

is protected against non-intended restart by

means of a self-acting main switch with undervoltage release.
