STEP 1

Attach the fitting template to the door using sticky tape. Line up the dotted edge of the

template to the corner edge of the door. The center of the template should be placed

approximately 36 to 48 inches from the floor level.

Measure the thickness of the door, and depending on the thickness you will need to mark

the door at 1 ¾” or 1-3/8” (at the centre point) using a pencil.

Next, using a pencil mark the backset. The backset can be set to 2-3/8” (standard) or

2-3/4” extended.
