7. Turn the knurled screw (position 3) to the left till the manometer
pointer stands exactly on the „red adjustment mark“.

Close the stop valves (position 5 and 6).

Now put the calibrated measuring cylinder (capacity min. 500 ml)
under the calibrating pipe (position 12). Open stop valve (position 6)
and press the rocker valve (position 2) slowly down till 400 ml water are
in measuring cylinder. If there in not enough air, close the stop valve
(position 6) again and pump more air. Now open stop valve (position 6)
and rocker valve (position 2) till 400 ml water are in the measuring cylinder.
Close stop valve (position 6) and rocker valve (position 2).

Let out the residual air by carefully opening the stop valve (position 5).
Open as well the shut-off valve (position 6).

Go on, as described under points 6, 7 and 8.

Press the rocker valve (position 2) approx. 20 sec. till the manometer
pointer has reached his final position by tapping on the manometer glass.
The pointer must show now 5%. Is this the case you can go on working with
the equipment. Open slowly the stop valve (position 5) and then open stop
valve (position 6).
