EonDrive
In this chapter, you will be familiarized with the technical specifications
of the EonDrive motor:
EonDrive is Forestal’s electric motor unit
with 250 W of power and 60 Nm of torque.
It’s more efficient at a cadence range of
80-100 rpm. It is IP67 graded which means it
can be submerged at a depth of 1 m in water for 30
minutes. It uses the standard ISIS axle with a
standard 104 BCD chainring. Its outer case is built
from Magnesium and Titanium. These materials are
also used for key internal components. With
dimensions of 165 x 105 x 147 mm it, it weighs 1.95 kg
and is one of the lightest motors in its category.
Safe trip home: once the battery reaches 0 %, you
can still cover a distance of 3 km with 100 m of
elevation to reach home with motor assistance.
