8.0. TROUBLESHOOTING

The appliance does 

not respond to 

commands.

The remote control may be too far from 

the mural unit or not aligned with it.

Get closer to the unit so the remote control signal can 

reach the signal receiver and make sure to be facing 

the mural unit when pressing keys.

The batteries of the remote control may 

be depleted.

Replace with new batteries.

There may be objects obstructing the sig-

nal from the remote control.

Remove  any  possible  obstructions  between  the  re-

mote control and the mural unit. 

The display is off.

The display of the mural unit may have 

been turned off from the remote control.

Restore  the  display  function  (see  Section 5.5 – 

Display Function of the Indoor Unit)

 Caution : 

Switch off the appliance immediately and cut off the power supply in the following events :

▪  Strange noises during operation
▪  Faulty electronic control board
▪  Faulty fuses or switches
▪  After having accidentally sprayed water or inserted objects into the unit
▪  Overheated cables or plugs
▪  Very strong smells coming from the appliance

If the air conditioner has a faulty component, an error code will appear on the mural unit display. Refer to 

the table below to understand the meaning :
