5.0. REMOTE CONTROL

COOLING MODE

This  mode  allows  the  air  conditioner  to  cool  the  room  to 

the desired temperature as well as remove moisture from 

the air.
To set the appliance to 

Cooling

 mode, press the 

MODE

 but-

ton on the remote control until the indicator 

 appears on 

the display screen.
Adjust the temperature to the desired setting using the arrow 

buttons 

 or 

.

HEATING MODE

This mode allows the air conditioner to heat the room to the 

desired temperature.
To set the appliance to 

Heating

 mode, press the 

MODE

 but-

ton on the remote control until the indicator 

 appears on 

the display screen.
Adjust the temperature to the desired setting using the arrow 

buttons 

 or 

.

Note : 

The function will only start when the ambient room 

temperature exceeds the set temperature.

Notes : 

▪  The function will only start when the ambient room tem-

perature falls below the set temperature.

▪  In 

Heating

 mode, the appliance will occasionally activate a 

defrost cycle in order to remove frost from the condenser. 

This is essential to allow the heat exchange function of 

the  condenser  to  regain  its  full  efficiency. This  process 

usually lasts 2 to 10 minutes. During defrosting, the fan 

of the indoor unit stops operation. Once the process is 

completed, the unit automatically resumes heating.
