HOW TO USE BEAR
™
and BEAR
™
mini
Before using your device:
• Charge BEAR
™
& BEAR
™
mini using the USB charging cable provided for up to 1.5 hours or
until fully charged. A fully charged BEAR
™
/ BEAR
™
mini should last for up to 90 uses, based
on a 1-minute treatment time per use. The intensity indicator lights under the universal power
button flash while the device is charging to indicate how much battery your device has. When
all of the indicator lights are lit, it means your device is fully charged.
• To unlock and register your device for first time use, download the FOREO For You app.
Connect to the app via Bluetooth on your smartphone, and press the universal button on
BEAR
™
/ BEAR
™
mini to sync your device to the app.
SAFETY & SECURITY:
To ensure the safety and security of your device:
1. Ensure the network to which your mobile phone is connected is safe.
2. Ensure the BEAR ™ / BEAR ™ mini device firmware is up to date with the latest version.
3. Do not connect the BEAR ™ / BEAR ™ mini devices to an unofficial application
through Bluetooth.
4. Ensure optimal Quality of Service (QoS) of wireless function, by making sure your phone
supports Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) with a version above 4.0.
5. Ensure that the operating range is less than 1 meter between your phone and your
BEAR ™ / BEAR ™ mini device.
CAUTION:
• BEAR
™
& BEAR
™
mini must be completely dry before starting your microcurrent treatment.
• This device must be used with a legally marketed conductive primer.
Directions for use:
1. Clean and dry your face and neck carefully so there is no remaining residue of any kind.
2. Apply the primer to your skin, distributing it evenly across all the areas you wish to treat.
Massage until fully absorbed.
3. i) Press the universal button to activate microcurrent. The lights underneath the universal
button indicate the microcurrent intensity setting. You can change the microcurrent intensity
by quick pressing the universal button once for each level. To turn off T-Sonic
™
pulsations,
double press the universal button. Use the app to access a wider range of microcurrent
intensities. ii) Lightly press both metallic spheres to your face, and gently glide the device
across your cheekbones and forehead, around your lips, and over your jawline and neck as
desired. Make sure that both microcurrent spheres are touching your skin at all times. Always
glide the device slowly, in an upward motion, and with light pressure for enhanced results.
