Creating and using a
custom address book
The following examples give general
guidance on storing and using
user-defined voicetags for specific
addresses and locations.
Worked example 1
In this example the unit starts in
navigation mode and the current
destination is not stored in the
destination memory:
1. Press the voice activation button
2. System: "NAVIGATION"
3. System: beep
4. User: "ADD NAME"
5. System: "PLEASE SAY THE
DESTINATION NAME"
6. System: beep
7. User: "MY OFFICE"
8. System: "THE DESTINATION
NAME IS STORED."
9. The voicetag "MY OFFICE" is
stored for the current destination
and is added to the destination
memory.
Worked example 2
1. Press the voice activation button
2. System: "NAVIGATION"
3. System: beep
4. User: "NAVIGATE TO "MY
OFFICE"."
5. System: "ROUTE GUIDANCE TO
< > IS STARTED."
6. The system calculates a route and
starts guidance to the user
specified location "MY OFFICE".
Using voice control with the
map display
The following examples give general
guidance on using voice command
in conjunction with the map display
screen:
Worked example 1
In this example the unit starts in
navigation menu mode:
1. Press the voice activation button
2. System: "NAVIGATION"
3. System: beep
4. User: "SHOW MAP"
5. The navigation screen switches
to the map display.
Worked example 2
In this example the unit starts in the
map screen:
1. Press the voice activation button
2. System: "NAVIGATION"
3. System: beep
4. User: "AUTOZOOM OFF"
5. System: "AUTOZOOM OFF"
6. The navigation system
deactivates the Autozoom
function.
