In the event of an overvoltage fault, the device protects itself. The error-LED lights up
and the display shows “dEF”. When the overvoltage is too high an internal fuse protects
the device. This fuse has to be replaced by a service technician of the customer service.
NOTES AND WARNINGS

Risk of explosion: During the charging process explosive gases can be produced.
■
Always make sure to have a well-ventilated environment. Avoid sparks, flames, hot and
glowing objects in the vicinity of the battery.
■
Protect the unit against rain and moisture.
■
If the charger and/or the cables are defective then hand over the charger to the manu-
facturer for repair resp. to a specialised dealer for service works.
■
The external fuse must be replaced manually.
■
Never try to charge defective or non-rechargeable batteries.
■
Adhere to the connection sequence for the device described in this manual.
■
Product für selective collection (hazardous waste). Never throw the device in the house-
hold waste!
■
This device is no toy! Protect it from unauthorized use.
■
Under no circumstances open the device housing on your own. All repair works and
modifications have to be made by the manufacturer’s service department, otherwise your
warranty will be void.

Make sure that the main power supply voltage complies with the voltage requirements
printed on the nameplate of the device.

MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY
The manufacturer’s warranty will be performed exclusively for manufacturing or material
defects that are indicated within 12 months after purchase (proof by purchase receipt).
After acknowledgement of the warranty by the manufacturer or his authorized represen-
tative, a free repair or a free replacement of spare parts is carried out in favour of the buyer.
