Descaling procedure
1. Disconnect the power plug.
2. Take down the appliance from the wall (if wall mounted) and put it on
a flat surface.
3. Take out the Dual Filter Cartridge, keep the water in the filter house.
(See instructions for replacing the Dual Filter Cartridge, page 7).
4. Put 50 g (about half a bottle) of the descaling agent in a cup with
lukewarm water and stir until fully dissolved. Pour it into the filter
house.
5. Fasten the filter house lid and mount the top cover (10). Connect the
power plug. Press the on/off button (4). Open the tap, push switches (3)
and (5) at the same time and hold down just until until the water is
coming from the water outlet and release the buttons.
6. Wait for 10 minutes.
7. Push Flush and Draw water switches simultaneously, for a minimum
of 1 minute in order to flush the unit.
8. Put back the Dual Filter Cartridge (see ‘Replacing the Dual Filter
Cartridge’, page 7).
9. Press Draw water switch and leave the water running from the unit for
about 10 minutes. (This will totally remove any descaling agent which
although harmless may create a sour taste).
10. Press Draw water switch and close the water tap in order to stop the
water flow.
11. Shut off the purifier by pressing On/Off switch.
