Safety Instructions
WARNING Read all safety
warnings and all instructions.
Failure to follow the warnings
and instructions may result in electric
shock, fire and/or serious injury.
Save all warnings and instructions
for future reference.
BEFORE USE
- Examine the belt, adapter and con-
necting cord for damage. Never
use a damaged belt, adapter or
connecting cord.
- Make sure the insulation of the con-
necting cord is in good condition.
- Straighten a twisted connecting
cord before use.
- Position the connecting cord so
that it cannot be reached or dam-
aged by the cutting or working at-
tachment of the power tool being
used.
- Avoid chafing, pinching or tugging
the connecting cord.
- Protect connecting cord from heat,
oil pointed objects and sharp edg-
es.
- Do not use the connecting cord for
any other purpose, e.g. for carrying
or hanging up the battery or pow-
er tool. Do not tug the connecting
cord.
- Position the connecting cord so
that it does not endanger others,
e.g. risk of tripping or stumbling.
DURING USE
- Wearing the power belt, make sure
you always have good balance and
secure footing.
- Never work with the power belt in
trees, on roofs or on a ladder.
- Make sure the connecting cord can-
not become entangled or snag on
objects. Route and secure the con-
necting cord carefully before start-
ing work.
Immediately disconnect the battery
adaptor from the power tool in order
to avoid unintended starting:
- in case of danger or emergency
- before working on the power tool's
cutting or working attachment
- before carrying out inspections,
adjustments, repairs or care &
maintenance
- before leaving the machine unat-
tended
- before transporting and/or storing
