The controls featured in this manual are representative of

Cool Mode
To set the desired room temperature, rotate the thermostat
switch to the desired setting. Rotate the thermostat selector
clockwise for higher cool settings and counter-clockwise for
a less cool setting.
When the set temperature is achieved, the thermostat will
automatically start and stop the compressor in order to maintain
the desired set temperature.

Fan Mode
Rotate the fan switch to turn the air conditioner to fan-only (high
or low speed) for air circulation or to cooling mode (high or low
fan speed). Turn the fan dial to OFF to turn the air conditioner off.
NOTE:
the compressor will not run in fan-only mode or when the
fan dial is set to OFF.
