Chamber does not control 
temperature and humidity 

The CONT switch is in the OFF position. 

Humidity does not increases 
fast enough, or does not 
increase above 75%RH

The water in the water reservoir is too low 

2.

 

The water in the water reservoir is too cold.  Allow about 30 minutes 
for the water to warm up to normal operating temperature. 

3.

 

The chamber door is not properly sealed 

4.

 

The water in the reservoir is not distilled. 

Humidity does not decrease 
fast enough 

1.

 

Desiccant is used up (red).  Make sure some of the desiccant in the 
desiccant reservoir is blue.

Condensation in the chamber.

The chamber door is not properly sealed.
