For best results, we recommend having your FIT 9.660 amplifier installed by a professional. To get the
most out of this product and its functions, we recommend that you read the instructions in this booklet
carefully, then store it in a safe place to refer to in the future. Any problems caused by failure to follow
the instructions may invalidate your guarantee.
1. Setting up your FIT 9.660 amplifier
1.1. Where to install your FIT 9.660 amplifier
Due to the amplifier’s power, heat dissipation is required for its operation. For this reason, the amplifier
must be mounted in a place permitting its ventilation, especially the top. Avoid enclosing or covering the
amplifier in its immediate area of installation.
1.2. Securing your FIT 9.660 amplifier
Position your amplifier where you want it to go and mark the spot.
Use screws suitable for screwing into your support structure.
- A 30-pin male connector
- One 12-pin female con one 18-pin female connector

- Center loudspeaker connector: Molex 43025-0200
• Power wires to the battery (GND & 12VBAT) must have a 4 mm² gauge (11AWG) and "+" line must be
protected with 30A fuse as close as possible to the battery.
• Wires to TE 173632-1 contacts must have between 1.25 (16 AWG) & 2 mm² (14AWG) gauge (2 mm²=14AWG
for VBAT & GND, they can terminate on 1 x 4 mm²=11AWG cable)
• Wires to TE 173631-1 contacts must have between 0.5 (20 AWG) & 1.25 mm² (16AWG) gauge.
Compliance with these wiring rules is essential to the safety of your electrical installation, it is also important
for maintaining maximum performance of your FIT 9.660 amplifier.
