Your MaXibar coffee machine is equipped with an efficient steam and hot water system. To use it,
you have to turn the general power switch (ref. K) to position 2, so that the boiler can heat up. Wait
approximately five minutes for the boiler to reach the ideal operating pressure. Check on the pressure
gauge (ref. O) that the pressure is approximately 1.5 bar: when this occurs, it means that the boiler is
ready to generate steam and/or hot water.
To generate steam insert the steam wand (ref. M) into a cup or any other recipients containing the liquid
to be heated or emulsified (e.g. milk) and turn the steam knob (ref. I) anticlockwise until the correct steam
intensity is reached. Once you have obtained the desired result, turn the same knob (ref. I) clockwise until
the steam output is completely stopped.
To dispense hot water place a cup or other suitable recipient under the hot water dispenser (ref. N) and
turn the hot water knob (ref. J) anticlockwise until the correct flow intensity is reached. Once you have
obtained the desired result, turn the same knob (ref. J) clockwise until the hot water flow is completely
stopped.
MaXibar is equipped with a user-friendly and practical electric cup warmer, located on the top of the
machine, which reaches the ideal temperature about three minutes after it is switched on at position 1 or
2 on the general power switch (ref. K).

While the machine is dispensing coffee, do not touch the steam wand and/or the
hot water dispenser and do not expose your face to the hot parts of the machine

The machine has been preset at the factory with a suitable programmed electronic dosing, which takes
into account the specific pressing and grinding of the pods provided by your Supplier. However, you can
customise and modify all pre-set coffee doses in this way:
Press and hold key 2 until the LED starts flashing (from this point on, programming must be carried out
within 15 seconds). To programme the machine for “short coffee”, first insert a pod, press key 0 to start
the coffee dispensing and press it again when the desired dose has been reached. To programme the
machine for “long coffee”, first insert a pod, press key 1 to start the coffee dispensing and press it again
when the desired dose has been reached.
