08.02 Relaunch with one line

In high winds the Speed4 can be relaun-

ched by pulling only one steering line.

Grab the green leader line with your

right hand (or the red with your left

hand) high above the floater. This way

the bar will be the right way up after

the kite relaunches. Pull back the leader

far enough towards you so that the kite

starts to peel to the side you are pulling.

Let go of the leader line as soon

as the kite peels off the water.

Grab the bar and keep it depowe-

red until the kite is flying again.

If the kite does not lift up
and peel to one side when
pulling the leader line, try
pulling the opposite leader
instead. If this still does not
work, then use the reverse
launch method.

08.03 Drainage

Flysurfer kites feature a water/dirt

drainage system. This ensures that

water or dirt are automatically removed

and do not stay trapped inside the kite.

If the kite is lying ready for

launch in the powerzone, you only

have to depower the kite to let it

launch. The air flowing into the kite

will push out any water or dirt.
