11. MAINTENANCE SYSTEM
A proper and regular maintenance is of essential importance for the durability of the mechanical
parts of the kit.
In addition to the routine maintenance that may be performed with all the
necessary precautions, even by unskilled persons, you should contact a qualified
technician for special maintenance and repair of delicate components or whose
reassembly requires special tools.
Every 50 hours
Every 50 hours of use it is necessary to clean the fuel filter Gascoletor to prevent that dirty
particles can completely occlude the filter and thus the passage of gasoline.
In case you should realize that you have used polluted fuel clean and wash
immediately the entire plant ( independently of the flight hours). The same
security measures must be taken whenever you perform works in which dirt
inside the fuel plant may enter (ex. during the installation of the kit or during
works on the tanks).
Every 250 hours
Every 250 hours of use make all the scheduled maintenance checks indicated by the engine
manufacturer including the above mentioned descriptions.
Jut for this test, keep switch off electrical fuel pump, and check fuel pressure in function of Rpm in
your installation, and fill the table below:
