1 Safety
1.1 Intended Use
The commutator motors are used to drive drum pumps for fast, safe emptying or
transferring of containers and barrels in non-hazardous areas.
1.2 Safety instructions
All safety instructions must be observed and followed.
Failure to follow the safety instructions may lead to serious injury or death or cause
environmental and/or property damage.
Adherence to the safety instructions will help you to avoid risks, to operate the pump
efficiently and to ensure that the product is used to its full potential.
Attention!

Risk of injury due to open drive shaft.

Never operate motors without pump.

Never leave the pump unattended.

Position the pump to prevent it from falling into the container.

Only operate the pump with a suitable hose.

The pump should not be immersed deeper into the liquid than
the outlet connection.

Secure the hose from sliding off the hose connector.
Noise exposure!

Use hearing protection.
Attention!

Protect motors without no-volt release against accidental
starting.
Danger of electric shock!

We recommend providing the power supply in damp locations
with fault current breakers.

Dirt, high humidity or material damage to the motor casing may
lead to dangerous electric shocks.

Check the mains connection cable for damage before every use.

Changes to the mains connection may only be carried out by
qualified electricians.
