Input A, B, C, D Peak Measurements Test

Warning
To prevent possible electrical shock, fire, or personal injury, make sure that the
calibrator is in standby mode before making any connection between the
calibrator and the Test Tool. Dangerous voltages are present on the calibration
source and connection cables during these steps.
Note
The test steps for channel C and D are only for the 4-channel models.
To test the peak measurement accuracy:
1. Connect the Test Tool to the 5502A. See

to change the time base and lock the time base on 1 ms/div.

to set the Input A, B, C, and D sensitivity ranges to 100 mV.
5. Set the 5502A to source the appropriate ac voltage and frequency as listed in
6. Observe readings A, B, C, and D and check that they are within the range shown under the
appropriate column.
When you are finished, set the 5502A to 0 (zero) Volt and Standby.
