Operators Manual

DCV Screen

The DCV (dc volts) screen is the first screen shown after the Product is powered on. This screen
shows the dc voltage that is currently entered into the Product. When you first turn on the Product, the
output defaults to 0 mV dc, Standby, 120 mV range.The DCV screen has these different softkeys:
• Function (see

Function Menu

)

• Guard (see

Guard Softkey

)

• Sense (inactive when EXTERNAL is not available) (see

Sense Softkey

• Setup (see

Setup Menu

The initial Product setup establishes the default configuration going forward. The Setup Menu (

Setup

)

is a multi-layer set of menus and screens used to set the parameters of the Product. The Setup Menu
is made up of these submenus:
• Calibration
• Instrument Setup
• System Settings
• Self Test and Diagnostics
• Languages
• About
These submenus are explained in the subsequent sections.

Note

Some Setup Menu items must be manually adjusted.

To select or make changes to individual menu items:
1. Tap the menu item.
2. Select the menu choice.
3. Tap

x

under the submenu list to close the menu.

Some of the menu choices use sliders to change parameter. Touch and slide the slider to move the
scroll bar to the left or right. Some of the menus use scrollbars. Touch and slide up or down to move
the scrollbar.

the left of the Setup Menu.
