System Setup

Setup Menus

Press the SETUP button, the setting menu will 

appear on the screen as shown. 

Use the direction buttons to select and 

highlight the function you wish to set,  then 

press the   direction button to enter. 

Press the  ,    direction buttons to set, then 

press the ENTER button to confirm the 

selection. Press the SETUP button to save the 

settings and exit.

Language Setup

Press the   ,    direction button to select Language, Subtitle,  Audio Language and  DVD 

menu then press the   direction button to enter.
1. If 

OSD LANGUAGE (On Screen Display Language) is selected, press the   direction 

button to enter.  Press the  ,    buttons to select the desired language then press the 

ENTER button to confirm your selection. Press the SETUP button to save the setting 

and exit.      

2.   If Subtitle, Audio or DVD menu is selected, press the   direction button to enter.  

 

Press the  ,    buttons to select the desired language then press the ENTER button 

to confirm your selection.  Press the SETUP button to save the setting and exit.  This is 

not available on all discs.

Video Setup Page

Press the  ,    direction buttons to select Aspect Ratio, TV System, Video Out or HD 

Resolution, then press the   direction button to enter.
1. If 

Aspect Ratio is selected, press the   direction button to enter.  Press the  ,    buttons 

to select 4:3 PS, 4:3 LB or 16:9 to match the aspect ratio of your TV then press the ENTER 

button to confirm your selection. Press the SETUP button to save the setting and exit.

Notes:  

•  4:3 : Select when the unit is connected to an external 4:3 TV.     

•  16:9 : Select when the unit is connected to an external wide-screen TV. 
2.  If TV system is selected, press the    direction button to enter.  Press the  ,    buttons to 

select the format of output signals to NTSC, PAL or AUTO, then press the ENTER button 

to confirm your selections. Press the SETUP button to save the setting and exit.

Notes:       

•  Set to NTSC if the color system of your TV is NTSC. 

 

(Default setting.  The TV signals in US, Canada and Mexico is NTSC).

•     Set to PAL if the color system of your TV is PAL. 

•   Set to AUTO if the color system of your TV is multi-system.
3. If 

Video Out is selected, press the   direction button to enter.  Press the  ,    buttons to 

select video output modes to YUV, YPbPr or HD.

•  Set to YUV if you connected the TV via the YUV jack on the player and YUV IN jacks on 

the TV as shown in the figure on page 11. 

•  Set to YPbPr if you connected the TV via the YUV jack on the player and YUV IN jacks 

on the TV (TV also set to Progressive Video input mode) as the figure on page 11.
