3. Introduction
Thank
you
for
selecting
the
FLIR
MR160
Imaging
Moisture
Meter.
The
MR160
integrates
high
quality
thermal
imaging
technology
with
the
best
in
class
moisture
detection
and
quantification.
Quickly
scan
using
our
Lepton
®
thermal
imager
and
find
the
problem
areas
to
investigate
further
with
built
in
moisture
sensing
technology.
The
MR160
offers
two
methodologies
for
moisture
measurement
an
internal,
non
‐
invasive,
pinless
moisture
sensor
and
an
external
pin
‐
based
probe.
The
MR160
also
features
a
capture
function
that
saves
the
measurements
and
images.
The
saved
data
can
be
transferred
to
a
PC
using
the
USB
cable;
reports
can
be
generated
with
FLIR
TOOLS
PC
Software.
This
device
is
shipped
fully
tested
and
calibrated
and,
with
proper
use,
will
provide
years
of
reliable
service.
