Position of the tapped hole with respect to the parallel keyway

The tapped hole for the set screw is positioned on the parallel keyway.

Selection of the set screw

CAUTION

Physical injury

Danger of injury from protruding set screw.
• Please observe the information about selecting the set screw.

As set screws use threaded studs in accordance with ISO 4029 with a toothed cup point. The size
of the set screw is determined by the bore made. The set screw should fill out the tapped hole
as much as possible and must not protrude beyond the hub.

NOTICE
Material damage resulting from damage to braking surface of coupling part 32 (32)

Operational malfunctions can occur if the braking surface of coupling part 32 (32) becomes
damaged
• When machining the balancing bores, make sure that you do not damage the braking

surface of coupling part 32 (32).
