First of all, pull out the manual lever assem-
bly from the uncoupler tracks side. After 
clipping the electric uncoupler motor in 
position, then follow the instructions on 
wiring it up to the control panel and the 
relevant controller clips.

6  Maintenance Advice

6.1  Tips on Maintaining your Layout

We recommend that you clean your layout 
from time to time to keep it free from dust 
and dirt.

The best way to clean the rails is to use the 
FLEISCHMANN track rubber 6595. Rub it 
gently over the rail surfaces, and then wipe 
over with a lightly oiled rag.
