MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
Servicing Notes
Servicing should be carried out annually by a competent person such as a
GAS SAFE registered engineer. The service should include visually checking
the chimney and fire opening for accumulations of debris and a smoke test to
check for positive up-draught in the chimney. In addition the oxy-pilot must
be changed as a condition of the guarantee. The condition of the ceramic
plaques should be checked and if necessary the whole set should be replaced
with a genuine replacement set. After any servicing work a gas tightness
check must always be carried out.
Ensure before any servicing work is commenced that the applinace is
isolated from the electrical supply.
