Chapter 6 Servicing
The FDCIE shall be serviced by specially trained technicians. Please disconnect power before
servicing.
6.1 Replacing the Batteries
Type: Sealed lead-acid battery.
Recommend period for replacement: 2 years (25
℃
)
Recommended manufacturer and model: AusCell 9ah 12VDC Lead Acid Batteries
Disposal of used batteries: Please properly dispose the used batteries according to your local
rules and regulations.

6.2 Replacing the Fuses
There are two types of fuses in the FDCIE, located on the control board and battery cable
respectively as shown in Table 6-1.

6.2.1 Follow the Steps Below to Replace F1

Remove the protective cover from the control board, and you will see the fuse F1.

Remove the fuse cover and replace the fuse.

After replacement, put back the fuse cover and the protective cover.
6.2.2 Follow the Steps Below to Replace 5A Fuse.

Unfasten the fuse holder in the battery connection to find 5A fuse.

Replace the 5A fuse

Fasten the fuse holder.
