7.1.3 Principles of Multi-Operation
The control system permits the continuous regulation of the gas burner (from the
available heating power range together with 2-level fan). The actuator of the mixed-air
module (open/close, continuous with poti or with spring return) always closes the out-
side-air supply when the unit is switched off. The fan of the unit and gas burner (200s)
continues to run on to discharge the hot exhaust gas from the flue gas pipework. The
run-on circuitry protects the heat exchanger against corrosion formation and simulta-
neously also against overheating.

NOTE!
In order to achieve an optimal combustion on initial commissioning with propane gas
or a propane gas container filled for the first time, the burner should be reset after
about 10 to 20 operating hours (depending on the number of units or the container
size). A new container is filled with nitrogen. This accruing gas mixture must be
processed with lower calorific value. A change in the gas calorific value (e.g. change
of the gas suppliers, gas type) requires a renewed adjustment of the burner.
