ADDING A VOICE MEMO (STILL IMAGES AND SEQUENTIAL SHOTS ONLY)

Press the shutter release button.

Voice memo recording starts when
the shutter release button is
pressed. Talk into the microphone
on the digital camera.

A voice memo of up to about
10 seconds can be recorded.
h
If you finish recording within
10 seconds, press [
o
] on the arrow
button to end recording.

While the voice memo is being
recorded, RECORDING and
are displayed.

For still images, you can also add a voice memo immediately after captur-
ing an image (see page 92).

After a voice memo has been added to an image, you cannot erase only
the voice memo. When the image is erased, the attached voice memo is
also erased.

If a voice memo is added to an image that already has a voice memo, the
new recording will replace the previous one.
