When the AC power is connected, the clock shows on the LCD display.
Press the POWER button to turn the unit 'ON'.
Note: The LCD display lights up.
You can now select your desired music source
by pressing one of the function buttons:
TUNER/BAND or CD PLAY/PAUSE or AUX.
To switch to POWER OFF, press the POWER
button.

The LCD display backlit goes off.
SETTING THE TIME
When the unit is first connected to AC power, the display shows "AM 12:00". To set the clock to the current
time proceed as follows:

With unit at off mode, press the MEM/PROG
button once, the hour digits begin to flash.
Press the SKIP Forward or Backward buttons to
adjust the hour. Be sure to set the hour
correctly for AM or PM.
Press the SKIP Forward or Backward buttons to
adjust the minute.
Press the MEM/PROG button again, the minute
digits begin to flash.
Press the MEM/PROG button once more, the
display stops flashing and the clock begins to
run.

Press the MODE button again, the TIMER OFF
indicator begins to flash.
Press the MEMORY button once, the hour digits begin
to flash.

the hour. Be sure to set the hour correctly for AM or
PM.

Note: Timer “ON” indicator will stop flashing after about
3 seconds and then goes off.
Note: Timer function with Surewake starts the music
quietly and then increases the volume to room level to
make sure you awake (when SUREWAKE switch is set
at ON position).
