NOTICE
1. To ensure and extend the use time of the motor, while starting the power, do not press the
grinding wheels too hard that the motor is not able to run.
2. To ensure and prolong the use time of the motor, avoid the overload using of the machine.
3. Before using, clean the remaining drops of water or oil on the knife to avoid the attachment
of oil on the grinding wheels so that it will have a longer life span.
4.
When using this machine to sharpen any blunt knife for the first time, it is normal and
necessary to sharpen several times.
TWO STEPS OF FAST SHARPENING:
lnstructions:
Put the knife into the sharpener nicks, pull backward from the front. The two sharpening nicks
on the left are equipped with rough grinding wheels; the ones on the right are equipped with
fine grinding wheel. Remember this! Sharpen your knife on the left first and then sharpen it on
the right and do this in tums. Do not use any water to assist your sharpening!
A. THE FIRST STEP:
Use the two sharpening nicks (with rough grinding wheel) on the
left:
Put the knife into the sharpening nicks on the left and press a
little! But do remember to operate it in tums:
Once on the left and once on the right!
(If the knife is very blunt, you can do it one or two more.)
B. THE SECOND STEP:
Use the two sharpening nicks (with fine grinding wheel)
on the right:
The same as the first step: once on the left and once on the right!
But remember not to press it too hard! Try to keep a light hand!
NOTES:
After these steps have been done, we can try if the knife is sharp
enough. If you consider it is still not very sharp, you can do it one
or two more times.
Use a sharpening steel to remove any remaining particles and to
give an extra fine cutting edge
