4. Operation
4.1 General
Before using the dishwasher, see also “After installation” in Chapter “Installation”.
4.2 Operation procedures
4.2.1 To fill with water [MM5]
• Check that the machine is cleaned and that no soil exists in the nozzles of the wash
and rinse arms.
• Put the overflow pipe and tank strainers in place in the machine. Make sure that
there is detergent and rinse aid in the containers.
• Push the switch 0/I. (Keep the wash program selector in position 0).
• Close the hood. The machine is now automatically filled with water.
• When the tank is filled the machine will automatically heat water.
• Do not begin washing until the machine has reached the correct temperature for
wash 60°C (in display 4).
[Tank filling is controlled by a pressure switch. If the contact tip of the pressure switch
does not close within 6 minutes from the beginning of tank filling, the filling has been ob-
structed or the water flow is too low and the error indication is activated.]
4.2.2 Washing [MM5]
• Place the goods to be washed in the rack. Place the dishes correctly in the rack:
deep plates in the rack for deep plates, cups in the cup racks etc. Rinse with a hand
sprayer to remove large food scraps.
• Select the desired washing time using the selector (2).
• Lower the hood. The wash cycle will automatically begin. The cycle will be indi-
cated by the indicator light (3). If the hood is lifted during the cycle, the machine
stops.
• When the dishes are normally soiled, the dish water should be replaced (emptying-
filling) after approx. 40 washing cycles.
